That being said, I can speak from my own experience with the shades I purchased and I have to say I was pretty pleased with them and can see myself buying more. However, they aren’t a traditional satin as the texture had a nice creaminess and the finish had a hint of a shine to it. I typically exfoliate and apply lip balm prior to applying ;DI tend to have a love hate relationship with the Maybelline Color Sensation Lipstick Collection. The Maybelline Made for All Lipstick by Color Sensational comes in a simple and sleek reflective silver plastic packaging. At best, it was a very warm-toned plum, but it didn't look mauve in the tube or applied to my eye.

The creaminess of the formula made application very easy on my dry lips and the color had a smooth look with a lightly hydrating feel with a wear of about five hours without migration of feathering issues. None the less both shades worked incredibly well for me. Have finally found lip balms but not much success with lipsticks. Getting excellent reviews. Hope these work okay.
