It is a lovely, well laid out hotel that is very close to the centre of Taormina. Very friendly staff.The restaurants and services are more expensive than in main Italian cities but it's totally worth the money.
Amazing view from the room. Surrounded by trees just below the main town, the Greek Theatre is also a triumph. Hotel Villa Carlotta. Also lots of other super delicious food, and drink...and super friendly people. Staff is very kind and friendly, restaurant terace has beautiful view of the sea. Midway along is Piazza IX Aprile, whose clock tower and church are overlooked by a rocky hill topped with a castle.As you would expect of Sicily’s most beautiful resort, there is no shortage of Taormina accommodation on Booking.com, including 5-star hotels on the beach, town centre apartments and luxury B&Bs.The hotel is just above Isola Bella beach, a very short walk from cable car that takes you upto Taormina Centre. TOP PLACE for us.I liked the friendly atmisphere.
You can do an afternoon visit to Castelmolla or change the beach to go to Naxos. Of course the magical view and can do some nice walking to enjoy the beautiful sea coast.
Looking for something even fancier? All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. The location for the beach and cable car to town centre is brilliant. Good comprehensive breakfast facilities, 10.30am finish great for those who like a lie in ! Pool. Rooms are cozy snd very clean.The hotel beach may not be the most beautiful one, but it is not crowdy and it is very peaceful, so we spent most of time here. Breathtaking views of the sea and Etna Volcano. Great breakfast room and balcony, plenty of coffee, nice outdoor pizzeria and bar with nice reasonably priced food and friendly staff.
