The Too Faced palette looks gorgeous. So I am happy to see you reviewing these brands. How to Sift Through Beauty Hype. Everything was even, blended and lasted all day.I LOVE the applicator because it’s large enough to only need to dip the product in once for BOTH eyes and it easily gets at the areas I need it to. I wouldn’t call it particularly drying but it sinks into the creases under my eye even with pressing a loose setting powder in (aka baking).Too Faced Born This Way Sculpting Concealer Review – Maple, Chestnut, Mahogany, Toffee, CocoaToo Faced Born This Way Sculpting Concealer Review – Nude, Golden Beige, Light Beige, Natural Beige, Warm Beigethe enabler your mother warned you aboutToo Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer SwatchesThere is an included mini-pamphlet that gives tips and shows you how to use this product to conceal as well as to contour/highlight.Too Faced Born This Way Sculpting Concealer ReviewToo Faced Born This Way Sculpting Concealer Review – Swan, Snow, Almond, Porcelain, Vanilla I’m a homebody, dog mama to Bailey, USA obsessed, and lipstick hoarder. I prefer Too Faced and a few other cosmetic brands (Color FX, Urban Decay, Kat Von D) that are cruelty-free and don’t have animal ingredients. Share But sadly, the concealer just didn’t grab me I went to Sephora and they did not have shade, I still bought it one shade lighter and even though I am very young I have extreme wrinkles under my eyes and relative dark circles and the formula was too liquidity and settled into my deep set wrinkles I might have to return it.I really wanted these to work for me but they creased so badly on me! If there is one thing Too Faced is known to rock, it’s packaging.
I like that it didn’t crease or get a gritty texture like some other brands I tried.
The lighter shades I tried seem to sheer out considerably during application yet when I tried the shade Medium Tan I felt like I didn’t have to build as much. Nah, it screamed my name!Oooh! It has a naturally radiant finish that seems to set down without creasing too badly under the eyes (I’m a firm believer ALL concealer creases under the eyes…). It is not heavy at all and applies flawlessly with either a makeup sponge or brush. This is key for those with drier skin, fine lines or wrinkles. The shade range is amazing (and I’m sure Too Faced would add more shades, if this new release goes well (which it seems to be)), the value is incredible and the claims completely live up to the hype.Let’s compare the popular rivals yet again: The concealer doesn’t dry out the skin and stays for longer than usual. It hugs eyes very nicely and has an almost stretch-like formula that conforms under eyes without settling into finer lines. I graduated in Human Resources and I have a huge passion for everything beauty. Nothing too special in my opinion, but just user-friendly. For me the coverage is good enough though I also think my closest shade match is just a bit too light. When comparing this to the popular – and what I believe is the biggest rival – Tarte Shape Tape, Too Faced is 100% more hydrating. The shimmer looks great. I don’t see any real differences on the arm or the eyes between the formulas.I can’t praise this palette enough. Thank you.Too Faced Born This Way Concealer Swatches Blended (Very Fair, Fair, Light, Light Medium, Medium)I’ll happily accept the darker shades if your not willing/able to use them i’d hate for product to go unused lolToo Faced Light Born This Way ConcealerQuestion-is deep tan actually lighter than tan? The shades seem a little hit or miss as well. Anyway, this is my current favorite for all the reasons you mentioned and so far it works the best for me with a setting powder. In every way: metallic-metallic, matte-matte, or metallic-matte, I had no problem blending.Yes, this palette is gorgeous! You can’t be super precise with it but for the way I do my makeup it works well for me.For a (rather big) con I personally do not find this concealer to be hydrating to my under eyes. I couldn’t find a match in the foundation, but the Light in the concealer might be a good matchToo Faced Born This Way Concealer Swatches (Very Fair, Fair, Light, Light Medium, Medium)Too Faced Medium Born This Way ConcealerToo Faced Medium Tan Born This Way ConcealerThanks for the response and your blog review which helped me see the various shades of the concealer.
The shades either had too pink, too yellow, or too dark undertones!Too Born This Way Concealer Swatches (Medium Tan, Tan, Deep Tan, Dark, Deep)It’s really hard when you can’t find your shade, a bit like Goldilocks – one too dark, one too light and pink, one not quite right.I’m happy to hear it worked out for you Monica From reading your reviews I feel like we have the same dry under eyes but I’ve just committed to baking (at least for a little while, I don’t keep it on forever).
