The main square is surrounded by bustling restaurants, from traditional eateries like the celebrity favorite Da Puny to small bars like Bar Mariuccia, which is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning espresso or an evening apertivo. I’ve always found it fascinating to watch how they carefully separate the delicate fillets from the bones of the fish.The half-moon harbor is lined with timeworn houses in shades of pink and yellow (no new houses have been built since 1935), built into the mountains that border the Ligurian coast.That was done so elegantly! He made it look so easy! Looked delicious too…. The food, wine and service all perfect.
