Now I have no choice but to sue them.Our home is built as strong as a site built home. Following a very simple and reasonably small claim following Hurricane Irma, Citizens has continued to place unreasonable and impossible demands for claim documentation (we’ve now paid out 1/3 of the claim amount to an engineer post-repairs to attempt to satisfy these demands) , and they do not allow us to speak directly to underwriting to find out more about why the information we have provided is not sufficient. I would definitely recommend going through this company. Andrew Blomberg directed us to the right type of policy, the firm had a wide selection of policies with major insurance companies, and he was available every time I had questions as we evaluated the best fit for us. I can understand the policy being cancelled but then to not allow you to get another policy with them is rediculous. Andrew Blomberg from the International Citizens Insurance was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and finding the right plan that works for us. At the time we got Citizens, they were the only company who would insure our house because we live in Florida, even though we do not live along the coast. The pay and benefits are good.
