I'm hoping that the movie will turn out to have a plot within it. Thanks to Illumination here’s the official trailer of Sing, the upcoming animated comedy musical movie written and directed by Garth Jennings and with the voices of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton and Tori Kelly: "Sing" and "The Secret Life of Pets" are being made by Illumination Entertainment, the studio that made the two "Despicable Me" and the "Minions" movie.

Trailer for Sing, starring Matthew McConaughey.. Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, Sing stars Buster Moon (Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey), a dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. Its movies are planned, written, storyboarded, and voice-recorded in Hollywood. If you've got an idea kids, make it. And the moment that John Lasseter started overseeing Disney Animation Studios, their films also began adopting those same traits.

I'm digging the anthro aesthetic but a little disappointed not to see any of the popular furry species. I had a concept running through my head for years, an ensemble anthro movie called "Battle Bands"... Oh well. I've lost count of the number of films that are about two mismatched characters going on a journey where they encounter a string of whimsical places and characters.

And hip-hop is still incredibly popular so to see it unrepresented seems weird to say the least. This is just a teaser trailer. This is just a teaser trailer. Will it be one of them, or will it be a Dark Horse?

While not every Disney/Pixar film is a success, they're still putting out a fairly reliable string of commercial and critical hits.I really like Anthropomorphics. This far in advance with little to go on, no idea how it'll do but my guess is it won't do too well in theaters but may find some life on dvd.Still, how difficult would it have been for Sony to delay its "Sing" release for a couple of weeks, until after Christmas and New Year's Day? Or do you feel like it’s still far away? The voice cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Tori Kelly, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton, and Scarlett Johansson. And here’s a look at the main characters:Just add some moves when you sing, and you’ll nail it!Who’s your favorite animal singer so far?Are you ready for the best singing competition ever? Watching the How To Train Your Dragon films, I miss the days when Disney would regularly adapt novels because they were a good source of original ideas and different character dynamics.
