SPD has had issues for decades.Just like they said several times they weren't going to tear gas the crowds. Growing up in Seattle I remember nearly yearly stories about misconduct by the police department. In the chapter I knew in law school, 3/4 guys in leadership positions sexually harassed every 1L girl who wanted to join the chapter. I'm sure these are the most neutral of observers too /s.
