Post-secondary athletics is no first for the Ivans family either, as her mother played basketball at MacEwan University.I also chose to attend UBC Okanagan because it is close to home, which has always been important to me, and have always heard amazing things about the academics offered there.

It is also a smaller, really nice campus which is awesome but I'm still able to get a high-calibre UBC degree.
