There are no loose threads or anything. The quilts also line up nicely on both.I think I read somewhere that it might be due to size.
The first signs of wear will likely appear on the corners of the flap and at the bottom of the bag but you also need to mindful of the overall leather condition and any creases or scratches.I have a week long trip to London at the end of the month and planned on visiting Paris for a day hoping I’d be able to purchase my first chanel(Woc) in black caviar. I didn’t get a buffing cloth with it. The turn-lock shifts from open to closed with a satisfying little click.I do like dealing with Heidi. Do you know anything about the 15xx series lambskin leather?
It is definitely important to keep in mind how you are going to use the bag when making the decision. the auth 19 small i got few days ago have inner red that look the same from your photos (not sure if it's same in real life). Thank you. I hope this helps anyone who's looking to purchase this bag!Thank you! About the Bags. Thanks a lot.I’m new to your blog – but I really enjoying it. Leather is made out of any animal skin which gets chemically or mechanically processed. It is fairly delicate and is prone to "peeling" although not as much as kid and maybe not as much as in earlier years. I don’t personally like to give perfect 10’s, but I don’t mind when other reviewers do because it just means they are completely happy with the purchase (and that’s the truly important part, rep OR authentic yeah?) Lambskin is the most delicate of the four. Maybe they changed the design recently?Great review! The Nelson calf is a soft, matte-finish calfskin, incredibly flexible.
Not sure if lamb and goat differ I would order from her again, most definitely. As far as the finish goes, the lambskin is definitely a matte/soft sheen. I was very pleasantly surprised by how accurate it was!Lulz, given the recent spate of reviews for CD Factory, looks like it will be the new "it" factory. The fabric lining on the CD version is also noticeably thinner and less stiff compared to the auth version.I think the CD strap is a little bit lighter than the auth version, but the difference isn't very significant! The back pocket fabric lining on the CD version doesn't lie as nicely against the bag as the auth version does.Overall, I'm really impressed with the CD factory version!
The leather is still quite soft though-- I was impressed!Thank you! It's essentially the fine bumpy texture remaining from densely-packed hair folicles.
I’d love a list by season with a mark out of 10 and a description. Lemme know how the conditioning works out and which one you use I might have to spruce mine up also! Do you have any experience or preference on classic flaps that are made in France versus made in Italy? Do you agree?Hi Amie. The number 19 stands for 2019, the year of its creation. You just wanna squish it. So if you have your heart set on a particular lambskin colour, you can absolutely make it work – you’ll just have to be mindful that you’ll have to be more careful and it will involve a little more TLC.If you do decide to go for lambskin, then it’s worth nothing a few things. You might be thinking of the goatskin as opposed to the lambskin. but now that all the newer ones are out and look matte without that crackly texture I carry mine all the time. It’s also the perfect length for me to fit as a crossbody (petite 5’4”) or over the shoulder. So, it’s important to inspect the leather that you’re getting.I am looking for either a Classic Flap Coin Purse or Classic Zipped Coin Purse in caviar leather but I cant find anything with the term Caviar on their website. That was originally the leather I preferred but only the larger size rep is crafted from the goatskin. It’s comparable to the Chanel lambskin. It’s so hard to describe but I’ve seen the auth and the black one has a weird sheen to it. May I ask you this? I would not recommend it for any shoemaking purpose.
There aren't any major issues, and it seems very well-made. It’s my first order from her.
It peels readily and the grain surface is very soft...meaning it has little or no abrasion or puncture resistance.
